Program Overview
The Management & Social Entrepreneurship Major prepares students to be effective leaders within multiple organizational contexts (entrepreneurial ventures, non-profit organizations, and small and large corporations). In addition to developing strong management and leadership skills, Management and Social Entrepreneurship majors will learn to apply entrepreneurial business solutions to pressing social issues. Graduates will offer organizations a skill that is in growing demand as corporations work with other organizations to effect social change through our free-enterprise system. The major builds on a strong general education foundation with coursework in core business disciplines (management, accounting, marketing, finance, economics, and information systems), as well as specialized courses in management and social entrepreneurship.
Students must earn a grade point average of at least 2.50, both cumulative and in the Management courses, to graduate in the major.
