This includes recognizing patterns, developing models, testing assumptions, etc. As a math major, you can develop a wide range of analytical skills including critical thinking and quantitative skills. Studying math at the undergraduate level is great preparation for a variety of careers that require the ability to reason carefully and to communicate effectively.
