Class ranking is given to each student based
on the number of credits successfully completed, D- or better.
Credits that the student has transferred into the college also
count towards the total number of credits when calculating the
student's class. The class ranking for students is used in various
ways by the college (i.e. class meetings, financial, etc).
The Registration Office uses the class
ranking in order to register students for classes. During
registration weeks (the time in which students register for the
next semester) students are allocated priority date registration
based on the class ranking (i.e. Seniors - register first, Juniors
- second, etc). The dates of registration and to when students may
register based on class level are posted each semester.
Class ranking is as follows:
| Freshman |
0-29 credit hours |
| Sophomore |
30-59 credit hours |
| Junior |
60-89 credit hours |
| Senior |
90 + credit hours |
