Position Description/Responsibilities:
The Division of Nursing is accepting applications for two full-time, tenure-track Nursing faculty positions for service beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year. Areas of specialty sought are nursing of families and children and nursing of adults/generalist. Rank is open and will be commensurate with qualifications. These positions will potentially serve undergraduate and graduate students in traditional and non-traditional programs including heavily web-supported and fully online programs. The Division of Nursing at Roberts Wesleyan College advances the profession of nursing through education, practice, and scholarship within a supportive Christian academic environment for students, staff, and faculty. In the Division there is a particular focus on Christian caring, excellence in teaching, leadership, and transcultural mission experiences.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in nursing is preferred; will consider candidates with masters in nursing; must have a strong commitment to the integration of Christian faith and professional practice; and a willingness to support and identify with the College’s Christian mission and identity. Candidates who have teaching experience are especially welcome to apply.
