"I served 21 years as a Free Methodist pastor in Elkland, Pa.; pastor for discipleship and family life in Chittenango, N.Y.; and 15 years at the Dearborn Free Methodist Church in Dearborn, MI. I became chaplain of Roberts Wesleyan College in 2008.
"My wife Janet and I both graduated from Roberts in 1984. We've been married for 27 years, and we have three children: Kim, Melanie, and Michael. Both girls both attended Spring Arbor University, and Michael starts his studies at Indiana Wesleyan in fall 2011.
"I enjoy music - I play the piano/keyboard, guitar and trumpet, and have composed many songs and musical compositions - and I've played for many years with dozens of worship teams. I also enjoy reading, writing, photography, biking, basketball, and art.
"Above all else, my desire is to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and to be a catalyst to help the Roberts community do the same."
